My first post
God has been good with to me and I think it is about time I tried to pay him back for all he’s done. Not that I could ever pay him back but trying is a good thing or at least better than doing nothing at all. The purpose of this blog is to write about my understanding of the Bible as well as my views on different things that happen in the world.
I won’t pretend that I know anything about either but I do have an opinion on both. And I need to practice my writing skills anyway.

Hi Janeth, I was reading your comment to ‘keywords in url for google’ in the webproworld.com forum and noticed you had a Bible Blog. I had to chuckle when I saw this as the first entry. My grandson asked me what Bunnies and Eggs had to do with Easter. I found out that the hare is the symbol of fertility and it came over with the German Amish and that eggs were usually a food given up during the Catholic sacrifice for Lent and having eggs was a big treat at Easter. That left both my grandson and myself wondering what either had to do with Jesus Christ being crucified on the cross and rising to heaven to be at the right hand of God the Father. What a revelation! Then my adult neighbors were making lewd comments about Christ and when I told them, they were equally as surprised. Well a big hearty yes to God is good to me too!
